Gimel ג The Great.

Gimel ג is the third letter of the Hebrew aleph bet. It's numerical value is 3. It means camel. The first time it is found in Torah as the root of a word is in Genesis 1:6 in the word גדול gadol; meaning great. As such ג gimel represents something great or wealthy. It represents stability and we see a picture of the flesh(humankind) in the ו vav leaning on the power and ability of God in the י yod. We will discuss these letters in more detail as we move foward.
