Vav ו is the sixth letter of the Hebrew aleph bet with a numerical value if six. Oddly the first time it appears as the root of a word is in Exodus 26:32 in the word וו vav meaning hook; the silver hooks used to hang the veil. As human kind was created on the 6th day, vav ו also represents the flesh and carnal side of mankind.
